Statement of Purpose: The Multimedia Marketing Coordinator at CAN Community Health is a creative professional responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and delivering high-quality multimedia content that reflects the organization's mission to empower wellness through compassion, community, and equity. This role involves a blend of video production, photography, graphic design, and editing to create impactful visuals and storytelling assets that drive engagement and amplify CAN Community Health's impact. The Multimedia Marketing Coordinator collaborates across teams to support marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, and organizational communications. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer.

Essential Functions:
Graphic Design:
- Design multimedia assets, such as motion graphics, animations, and infographics, to enhance digital and social media campaigns.
- Create branded templates and materials that align with CAN Community Health's visual identity.
Video Production:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content, including patient stories, promotional campaigns, event coverage, and educational materials.
- Manage all aspects of video production, from scripting and storyboarding to post-production and final delivery.
- Ensure video content adheres to brand guidelines and meets accessibility standards.
Photography:
- Capture professional-quality photos of events, clinics, and community outreach programs.
- Organize and maintain a library of images for use in marketing materials and digital platforms.
Content Management:
- Maintain a repository of multimedia files, ensuring proper organization and accessibility for the marketing team.
- Optimize multimedia content for web and social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and adheres to style guidelines.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, outreach, and clinical teams to develop content that supports organizational initiatives.
- Partner with external vendors or freelancers as needed for larger-scale projects.
Website Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of CAN Community Health's website to ensure a user-friendly experience and accurate, up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance website functionality and accessibility.
Innovation and Trends:
- Stay updated on multimedia production trends, tools, and technologies to keep CAN Community Health's content fresh and engaging.
- Suggest new approaches and techniques to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Education/Professional:
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in multimedia production, with a strong portfolio of video, photography, and graphic design work.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Expertise in operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras for video and photography.
- Familiarity with digital accessibility standards and optimizing content for web and social platforms.
- Experience in healthcare or non-profit marketing is a plus.
Competencies (Required Skills and Abilities):
- Must demonstrate initiative, be highly organized, able to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments, and able to work well with executive team and staff at all levels in the organization.
- Must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word,Excel, PowerPoint), email marketing platform (e.g. Constant Contact), and website content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to understand challenges and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis C and other diseases.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to manage marketing and public relations for audiences inside and outside the organization. Ability to evaluate opportunities for organization promotion and manage a budget.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
