This position provides operational program support for the mortgage origination team of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s (TCHFH) lending subsidiary, TCHFH Lending, Inc. TCHFH Lending, Inc. provides home mortgages to low-and-moderate income households purchasing homes built by Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity or on the open market. The Mortgage Origination Manager is responsible for maintaining successful, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operations of the mortgage origination activities of the lending department, including oversight of loan originations, underwriting, and management of external vendors supporting in those activities. This position will comply with state, federal, security, and compliance laws, and is responsible for maintaining related department policies and procedures consistently.

Required Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- BA/BS required. Preferred degree in field of finance/economics, business, accounting, or real estate.
- Active/current NMLS Minnesota Mortgage Loan Originator License.
- 3+ years as manager of residential mortgage loan originations, underwriting, and/or compliance.
- Working knowledge of industry-standard underwriting, delivery requirements, and industry regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- Certification in community lending (National Development Council, NAMB, Neighbor Works NCHEC. etc.).
- 5+ years in mortgage lending/banking environment; nonprofit, community-based lending, or CDFI experience.
- Previous experience with Habitat for Humanity organization, mission, and its borrowers.
