Full Job Description

The Mechanical Integrity Program Coordinator will lead and manage all aspects of the asset integrity programs associated with stationary and structural assets. This includes the inspection programs, budgeting and cost control, and quality assurance, and safety, regulatory and insurance compliance. Hire and manage outside engineering, contractors, and NDT testing firms as required to implement and maintain the asset integrity programs. Coordinate the defect elimination program including defect identification, root cause analysis, and defect elimination plan. Work with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering for inspections and repairs.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate the defect elimination effort by identifying bad actors, root cause analysis, and working with Maintenance and Engineering on a defect elimination plan.
  • Direct and manage daily and long term man-power planning, scheduling and execution of mechanical integrity inspections. Ensure projects are meeting all applicable standards and requirements in terms of safety, quality, timeliness and cost.
  • Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety and environmental standards are being followed by conduction safety audits, risk assessments and housekeeping reviews. Ensure all asset integrity programs meet all Mosaic, Regulatory, and Code requirements. Participate as mechanical integrity inspection representative during insurance audits.
  • Lead and manage the implementation and continuous improvement of the structural integrity programs and inspection procedures.
  • Lead and manage the Mechanical Integrity Process at site for inspections, updating PCMS software, determining criticality, and recommended repairs to eliminate defects and lower risks, follow up and provide QA/QC on repair execution.
  • Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent. Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.

What do you need for this role?

  • 3+ years experience within Inspection Industry or MI program for owner/operator of stationary equipment.
  • 5+ years of Engineering experience required.
  • API 510/570 - American Petroleum Institute
  • API 579-1 - American Petroleum Institute
  • API 653 - American Petroleum Institute
  • Three years of experience with one or more of the API certifications
