The Market Insight Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market and industry data to provide actionable insights that drive business strategy, marketing efforts, and decision-making. This role combines market research expertise, data analysis, and strategic thinking to identify trends, assess competition, and uncover opportunities that align with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Analysis
• Conduct primary and secondary market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
• Analyze data to identify emerging market opportunities and potential risks.
• Monitor and report on macroeconomic factors and their potential impact on the business.
2. Competitor Analysis
• Collect and evaluate competitor data, including product offerings, pricing, marketing strategies, and customer reviews.
• Maintain a competitive intelligence database and create detailed profiles of key competitors.
3. Consumer Insights
• Develop and distribute customer surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather insights into customer behavior and needs.
• Leverage customer data to create personas and segmentations that inform marketing and product strategies.
4. Reporting & Communication
• Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key findings and actionable recommendations.
• Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across departments, including senior leadership.
5. Strategic Planning
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate insights into campaigns and product roadmaps.
• Support business development efforts by identifying market gaps and opportunities for expansion.
6. Tools & Technology
• Utilize data analysis tools, CRM systems, and market research platforms to collect and analyze information.
• Stay updated on new tools and methodologies to enhance the efficiency of research efforts.

Qualifications

1. Education
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree (preferred) in Market Research, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
2. Experience
• 2+ years experience in market research, data analysis, or a related role.
• Familiarity with industries relevant to the company's focus.
3. Skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
4. Key Traits
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying trends and problem-solving.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
