Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Planner, Sr. for Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive production schedule that aligns with customer requirements, production capacity, and resource availability.


What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner, Sr., you will be responsible for coordinating interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts, administration, etc. Your responsibilities will include:
* Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders,
stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
* Communicating production schedule updates and changes to relevant stakeholders
* Analyzing production data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential bottlenecks in the production process.

This position typically requires 6 years of professional experience.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
* Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs
* Experience with SAP/ERP system
* Understanding of Manufacturing Processes
* Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and
multitasking skills
* Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as required
* Ability to obtain a security clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting.
Desired Skills:
* Production Scheduling experience
* Experience with Material Management and Accounting Systems (MMAS)
* Obtains knowledge of the dynamic changes in demand, supply, and production capacity.
* Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders
* Familiar in project management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
