HYBRID role in Stoughton, MA - 1X per month
Job Purpose:
The Manager of Payroll will work closely with the Director of Accounting in maintaining the payroll and accounting records of the Company.
Job Duties:
- Process the bi-weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees;
- Upload employee 401k and HSA contributions on a timely basis;
- Maintain bonus and paid time off schedules;
- Maintain employee census and contact information;
- Maintain all state and local tax IDs
- Support the review and approval of expense reporting;
- Participate in the annual financial audit by providing payroll related information;
- Support other audits (workers compensation, 401k) by providing payroll related information and assisting auditor with questions;
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll related processes;
- Supervise payroll/accounting associates on a daily basis
- Hybrid work schedule (work from home & from corporate office as necessary)
- Other duties as assigned;
Specific Skills/Qualifications:
Analysis: highly proficient in Excel;
Payroll: highly experienced in payroll processing and related activities;
Systems: previous experience in ADP Workforce Now and Concur a plus;
Other: energetic, highly motivated, organized, attentive to detail, deadline oriented, strong communication skills; discretion and confidentiality are essential as this position deals with highly sensitive and private data
Education/Experience:
Applicant should have a minimum of 5-7 years of payroll experience
Experience supervising associates is a plus
