JOB SUMMARYThe Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, is currently seeking a summer semester intern to support the Talent & Culture Department. The T&C Intern will be responsible for assisting with onboarding new hires, sourcing candidates for open positions, updating social media, research, and special projects as assigned. This position will also gain exposure in payroll and benefits.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Post positions through our ATS system as well as other sites such as LinkedIn and Handshake.
  • Source candidates through our ATS system, screening resumes/applications and making an initial call to potential hires.
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires including completing paperwork, creating new hire folders, verifying I9s, and scheduling onboardings with additional departments.
  • Update the LPGA LinkedIn page with new and exciting company and employee information.
  • Provide support to the Payroll and Benefits Administrator to assist with input of new employee information and benefits details.
  • Research new and emerging trends within HR to elevate the department.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of basic HR principles and procedures including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and legal compliance.
  • Skilled in problem solving with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Skilled in written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to be proactive, have excellent organizational skills, and perform efficiently.
  • Ability and willingness to gain expertise and perform work in new areas.

INTERNSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited College or University.
  • Progress toward a degree, major, or minor in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,)
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
  • Must be junior or senior level. Grad students and recent grads will be considered.

PROJECTED INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE
  • Internship Duration: June 2025 to August 2025
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
