The Town of Wellesley is looking for a full-time Light Equipment Operator for the Department of Public Works. Under the direction of the foreman, the position requires the ability to perform a variety of manual, unskilled, and semi-skilled tasks including operating various equipment such as aquatic weed harvesters, air compressors, snow blowers, lawn mowers, sidewalk tractors, etc.; performing semi-skilled building and construction work to include painting, brick and stone masonry, concrete and pavement work ; maintaining publicly used Town lands such as parks, school grounds, recreation areas, etc.; repairing fences and signs, sowing grass, plant trees, and performing a variety of turf maintenance activities.

Minimum requirements include a valid MA Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s license, a valid Hoisting Engineer’s License class 4G, and the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Pay range is $20.06 - $26.97 per hour.
