This position will provide support for multiple systems and processes related to compliance and controls within the Information Technology department. The Lead Compliance Analyst will serve as the IT point of contact to review regulations, integrate regulatory requirements into IT policies and procedures, and provide governance of IT core processes.Accountabilities:
Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:
- Serve as the main point of contact responsible for information technology governance, compliance reporting, risk monitoring, and other related reporting.
- Lead process improvement efforts to strengthen and enhance the project and IT control environment.
- Partner with IT management to proactively identify and report on potential project and IT governance, risk, and compliance issues or internal control deficiencies.
- Ensure that procedures are defined and kept current for the completion and execution of IT controls.
- Serve as the 1b representative for IT.
- Serve as the IT liaison for Internal Audit, SOX department, Operational Risk & Compliance, and external auditors.
- Provide education and assistance for compliance-related activities to all areas of the IT department.
- Stay informed on new regulations and standards, integrating requirements into IT policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required.
- 5-7 years+ experience in compliance, risk and information governance.
- Technical acumen related to information technology systems.
- Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment.
- Ability to make effective and informed decisions using own initiative and based upon a sound understanding of the issues and challenges of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills.
- Effective in a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated.
Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $106,467.00 - $118,993.00This salary range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank’s annual incentive plan.
