Jr Backend Engineer
Location: McLean, VA OR Remote
Duration: ~6 months
Pay rate: Negotiable

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skills and contribute to exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the design and development of backend services and APIs.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in [specific programming languages, e.g., Python, Java, Node.js].
* Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
* Debug and troubleshoot issues in the backend systems.
* Support testing and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
* Continuously learn and apply new technologies and methodologies.
Must have tech stack:
* AWS
* Java
* Python
* experience w/ data bases
* API
Nice to have:
* Some front end experience
