Job Title: IT Senior Business Partner - Legal IT

Introduction to role:


Are you ready to demonstrate technology to impact patients and ultimately save lives? We are seeking a Senior IT Business Partner to develop strategic relationships within our larger customer areas in our Legal groups and identify ways for IT to partner with them in achieving and exceeding business objectives. This role will drive the delivery of innovative business solutions to build maximum competitive advantage. Combining your AZ internal knowledge, in-depth understanding of the business area direction, and IT expertise, you will drive the creation of innovative technology solutions.

Accountabilities:

As a IT Senior IT Business Partner in Legal IT, you will build strong strategic relationships with complex customer groups and senior Legal collaborators, developing a deep understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction. You will assess and prioritize requirements in line with IT strategy, develop and maintain the customer account plan, handle a portfolio of investments, lead high-level investigations on requirements specifications and feasibility studies, and proactively find opportunities for IT to deliver innovative technology solutions. You will also work collaboratively with various teams to build alignment and identify cross-business innovative opportunities.

Essential Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience
* Domain knowledge of the Legal function and technology landscape
* Evidence of leading and developing innovative solutions
* A consistent record of delivering results
* Experience of building cases & mobilising high value investments
* Experience of leading teams with a demonstrable track record of motivational and achievement oriented leadership
* Experience of leading third party suppliers and have strong network and consulting skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong influencing, networking and team working skills
* High level awareness of developments in the Information Technology marketplace
* Demonstrate positive relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
* Proficiency in planning, change management and problem solving and able to resolve issues of a highly complex and strategic nature
* Shown ability to relate and respond to business needs in an IT environment
* Ability to lead negotiations, expectations and solutions across complex groups

Desireable Skills/Experience


* Experience in and knowledge of bio-pharma industry
* Involvement in pharma thought leadership networks and organisations
* Agile development methodologies

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $137,045.60 - $205,568.40. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
