WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will support the agenda of the Global Tech & Digital Advantage (TDA) Industry Leadership Team (ILT) and the industry-focused commercial go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

This is a critical strategic business growth priority for TDA and for BCG overall, requiring strong combination of strategic thinking (identification/articulation of forward-looking client priorities), development of industry-specific approaches/assets, steering senior stakeholder discussions, and alignment across other TDA functions.

In this role you will report to the Global TDA Industry Managing Director & Senior Partner to: 
  • Create the “strategic north” for industry focused teams and acceleration plans with the global TDA Business and Practice Acceleration Lead
  • Link industry priorities and commercial opportunities with global TDA Offer Suite
  • Partner with TDA Offer Director to drive industry/sector customization of priority offers 
  • Collaborate with Industry Leads to strategize, develop and challenge their industry specific objectives and actions
  • Drive TDA representation in Industry Leadership meetings and manage events to increase TDA presence and affiliation
  • Partner with Finance, People, and Knowledge teams (leadership industry-focused teams) to strengthen industry collaboration, go-to-market approach, and overall business management
  • Analyse the KPIs, e.g., penetration, source of business (unit, products, ...) of TDA per IPA and sector and propose improvement levers and growth opportunities
  • Create transparency of the industry-focused pipeline and understand why we’re winning/losing in the market
  • Align with Industry Leadership and learning programs

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Successful candidates will be effective at working across multiple teams within BCG, have strong project management skills, the aptitude to see and hold the big picture, yet also manage the details. Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities and eagerness to lean in to support team/projects when needed, are also pre-requisites.

In particular, successful candidates will show the following abilities:

  • Leading others, including senior business leaders in clarifying problems and developing solutions by building cross-topic/sector partnerships - building consensus, persuading and influencing.

  • Complex project management with the ability to multi-task and drive advanced strategic analysis (beyond data) and leverage results for impact
  • Managing senior stakeholders, building consensus, and being a strong team player across seniority levels and geographies with a strong presence and maturity
  • Motivating others to deliver highest standards, providing direction, mentoring and coaching.
  • Leading projects, delivering intellectually robust output and synthesizing complex topics effectively, while anticipating and managing risks

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 7+ years of professional experience preferred 
  • Ideally consulting skills (slide writing, analytics, excel); good analytical and conceptual skills, ability to package complex topics, including hypothesis-driven thinking, problem solving, quantitative analysis, financial modeling, storyboarding, etc…
  • High motivation and interest for innovation and Digital topics
  • Ideally experience with Business Development, agenda and pipeline management is preferred
  • You’re able to be a credible thought partner and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders while understanding the partnership and business.
  • Ideally you have demonstrated leadership and team management skills, along with proven success in managing change in a global, complex matrix organization
  • You’re skilled at building relationships across all a matrixed organization and navigating effectively across functions with credibility and maturity
  • You’re a self-starter and enjoy working independently and in teams; you display consideration and respect for others and put the team’s success ahead of your personal opinions
  • You’re persistent in reaching key objectives but have the tact, patience, and flexibility to make progress
  • You are fluent in English (both written and verbal)

YOU'LL WORK WITH

As part of this role, you will work closely with the Global IPA. TDA Leadership, the TDA TDA/Platinion leadership teams, TDA Global Offer Leadership and Knowledge Management teams, TDA global Marketing and Finance.
