Vivint Technology Group Product Manager

As a Group Product Manager in Vivint Technology (VT), you will lead a software product management team. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of software products, setting the strategic direction, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that drive business success. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and mentoring Product Managers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining a strong focus on delivering a seamless user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a clear, long-term vision for the product portfolio, aligning with company goals and user experience needs
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a team of Product Managers. Set performance objectives, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, Engineering, UX, and Program team to ensure alignment on product requirements, scope, and development processes.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch. Ensure feature development aligns with the end-to-end user experience.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of products, from conception through launch and beyond. Ensure features and enhancements align with the strategic vision and meet user needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for products. Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders. Gather and integrate feedback to inform product development and strategy.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze product performance, use data-driven insights to guide improvements, and provide regular updates to senior management.

What You Will Do:

  • Define and implement the strategic direction for a diverse portfolio of software products.
  • Guide and support a team of Product Managers to achieve their goals and drive product success.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between engineering, UX, and business units for effective product delivery.
  • Drive innovation and improvements in product features and performance based on market trends and user feedback.
  • Monitor product performance and provide actionable insights for continuous enhancement.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of leading product teams.
  • Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Desired Certifications/Skills:

  • Certification in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM) is a plus
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools
  • General understanding of UX principles and best practices.
