Our leading healthcare client is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer with Sharepoint or Oracle Career site design experience to join their dynamic team on a part time basis 10-15 hrs/wk. Will need to be able to at least overlap hours with CST.. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills across various mediums, including digital, print, and presentations. This role will play a crucial part in shaping and elevating the hospital’s employer brand through visually compelling and impactful creative assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Presentation Design (50%):
- Develop high-impact PowerPoint presentations.
- Create and maintain consistent branding and visual style across all presentations.
- Scrub and standardize existing presentation templates to enhance their visual appeal and effectiveness.
- Develop compelling narratives and visualize information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Social Media (30%):
- Design engaging social media graphics for various platforms.
- Develop and maintain a consistent social media aesthetic that aligns with the hospital’s brand identity.
- Create weekly social media posts that are visually appealing, informative, and aligned with the hospital’s communication goals.
- Monitor social media trends and best practices to ensure the hospital’s presence remains current and impactful.
- Graphic Design (20%):
- Design and produce a wide range of print and digital marketing materials, including posters, brochures, flyers, banners, postcards, etc.
- Design and develop templates for various applications, such as SharePoint or Oracle Career sites.
- Explore and implement innovative design solutions to enhance the hospital’s employer brand.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of creative campaigns across various channels.
- Employer Branding:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to strengthen the hospital’s employer brand.
- Create compelling visual storytelling that effectively communicates the hospital’s unique culture, values, and employee experience.
- Develop and maintain a library of high-quality brand assets for use across all communication channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design.
- Proven experience in designing presentations, with a strong understanding of visual hierarchy and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), PowerPoint, and other relevant design software.
- Experience with SharePoint or Oracle Career site design.
- Nice to Have: UX experience.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles and a diverse range of creative work.
Nice to Have
- Experience in web design (no coding required).
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.74 to $44.74 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
