As Global Marketing Activation and Orchestration Co-Op, you will play an important role with the Global Marketing Activation and Orchestration team to shape BCG’s global positioning – which capabilities and themes does BCG stand for. In this role you will support our campaign managers in the activation of BCG’s global flagship topics. You assist in the positioning strategy and the respective global campaigns and work with BCG’s think tank Bruce Henderson Institute as well as BCG’s Practice Areas, regions and local markets. Our campaign progress is regularly discussed with BCG’s Marketing & Comms Leadership Team, (in particular the Global Chief Communications Officer, the Global Chair Positioning and Communications, and the Chief Marketing Officer),
As part of this position you will
Support the activation managers to define, execute and adapt omni-channel positioning campaigns across BCG’s global communication channels as well as local markets worldwide
Identify the most relevant publications in BCG’s existing editorial pipeline for broader activation
Assist in the close collaboration with colleagues from communication channels (e.g., public relations, social media and direct client communications and also internal communications), Practice Areas and local markets in an agile way of working
Work closely with the analytics team to integrate and measure the value and impact of the positioning campaign and its strategic partnerships
Assists in development and delivery of marketing assets for individual channels, e.g. social media
Understanding the objectives, target audience and channels of Marketing activations
Having a basic understanding and passion for the themes shaping today’s global agenda (e.g., climate and sustainability, AI) and BCG’s business priorities
Being able to creatively shape BCG content and media assets with the lens of a storytelling expert making it attractive for various amplification channels
Working collaboratively across teams in a matrixed organization – in an agile way
Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle
Work experience or academic background in marketing and communications
Experience in a professional services firm e.g., management consulting is a plus
Ability to work with different markets, cultures and travel as required
Advanced communication skills: oral, written and active listening
Fluent written and spoken English skills
