POSITION SCOPE
As the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the facilitywhile also developing and supporting relationships with the location's customer base. The General Manager will direct, promote and coordinate operations in a manner that will optimize the company's efficiency, customer service, safety program, mission, and goals. You will engage in open communication with the management staff on strategic opportunities affecting the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily operations of thelocationfacilities
Providing outstanding service to all customers
Overseecountry storeto maximize operational efficiency and profit
Develop strategic plans and the associated action plans focused on growing the company
Oversee facility compliance with FSMA, OSHA, andsafetyprograms
Supervise daily logistic activities associated with location operation
Supervision - establish and communicate goals and results to employees, staff the location and delegate workload, support employee growth, and uphold company policies
Develop company annual budgets including capital project needs and associated costs
Manage location maintenance and safety records
Communicate information regarding products and services with customers
Develop monthly financial reports for the company and deliver to the Board of Directors
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5 to 7 year of supervisory/management experience with strong leadership skills
Outstanding communication skills with staff and board members
Preferred experience in the feed and feed ingredient business including nutritional services
Ability to attract talent and build the employee team with the growth of the company in mind
Able to maintain a sharp focus on efficiency along with the ability to manage effectively
Strong financial aptitude
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science, agronomy, etc. Relevant experience may be substituted for education

Our company has a feed manufacturing plant and Country Store located in Howard Lake, MN. The General Manager will report to 5 members of the Board of Directors. The company is financially solid and growing with a professional staff of employees focused on providing excellent service to their customers.
