The Financial Reporting Accountant is critical to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our audit reports and financial disclosures. What You'll Do
- Compilation of annual audit reports and financial disclosures, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards (U.S. GAAP historical cost or Fair Value), regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and review accompanying notes to the financial statements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable reporting requirements.
- Assist in coordination of the annual financial statement audits, liaising with the accounting team and external auditors to facilitate the audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
- Manage audit requests by coordinating with cross-functional teams, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with the audit team to identify and resolve any discrepancies, variances, or issues that may arise during the reporting process.
- Conduct technical research to stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices, and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Coordinate with internal accounting teams to facilitate the efficient adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and changes in reporting requirements.
- Establish controls for maintaining consistent application of accounting procedures and policies.
- Provide support on various transactions, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings, ensuring proper accounting treatment and disclosure.
- Identify, implement, and maintain a reporting software solution to streamline and enhance the reporting process.
- Engage in ad hoc projects and requests that arise within the scope of the role.

- Master's in business or accounting (completed or in progress) preferred.?
- CPA certification is required.
