Full Job Description
Luxury Automotive Dealership in Atlanta, GA seeking an experienced Facility Manager. The ideal candidate should have previous experience supervising a team and overseeing projects and vendors. They will ensure a safe and clean working environment for all employees and clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES
- Lead, direct, and develop internal maintenance/custodian team.
- Schedule and oversee daily maintenance and repairs of our facility, grounds, and equipment to limit disruptions to operations and prolong equipment life.
- Effectively plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor approved projects.
- Manage vendor relationships. Negotiate and enforce contracts. Oversee outside vendors/contractors when on-site professional repairs are necessary.
- Ensure all aspects of our facility are compliant with federal, state, local, and internal regulations, safety standards, building codes, maintenance schedules, and record/reporting requirements.
- Self-complete repair and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Proactively communicate potential issues and recommendations with management and other stakeholders.
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
- Excellent leadership, administrative, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete basic repair and maintenance tasks.
- Expertise in federal, state, and local regulations and compliance issues related to the automotive industry.
- Physical demands include: constantly position body and move in order to maintain facilities, repair equipment, and traverse/monitory property; detect and identify issues and safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs frequently, 10lbs constantly); operate tools and equipment; repetitive motion. Work is conducted inside and outside on varying terrain, on public and private roadways, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.
