The DoubleTree by Hilton Madison Downtown is looking to welcome an experienced Kitchen Manager/Executive chef to help lead the culinary team while cooking on the line and cooking for banquets. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for high-quality food and a desire to work as a team to provide outstanding and memorable customer service to all hotel and banquet guests.
As a member of our award-winning team, you would be responsible for executing recipes and ensuring quality of food before it is served. The position is hands-on, as you would be required to work on the line and master all work stations. You would be in charge of food inventory, daily kitchen operations and the supervision and development of the line cooks. Working as a team with the General Manager, Food and Beverage Director and the Director of Sales on menu initiatives as well as banquet execution would also be part of this role.
This is a salaried full-time position with a 5 day work week. Hours will vary, to include nights and weekends. Full benefits include health, life, dental, 401k and vacation discounts. We require a minimum of a year’s experience as an Assistant Kitchen Manager or a Line Cook Supervisor with knowledge of banquet production. Also, we require you to be in your current position for at least one year as we are looking for career oriented individuals that are able to maintain steady employment.
