The Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus, daily publications in the Quad-Cities, are seeking an entertainment reporter to help drive our coverage in a competitive media market of nearly 385,000 people.
Our last entertainment reporter leaned into his passions and did a series on the best Quad-Cities concerts in history and developed a weekly food segment. What can you bring to our publications?
The ideal candidate will seek innovative ways to tell the best stories. The beat includes coverage of food, music, culture, attractions and tourism, along with general assignment stories. This is a collaborative newsroom focused on enterprise stories and projects.
The entertainment reporter will work out of the Davenport, Iowa, newsroom, which overlooks the Mississippi River..
