The Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible/board-certified clinical track faculty member to join the Division of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the level of Assistant Professor. Role Overview:
- Collaborate with ourmultidisciplinaryHead and NeckDisease Management Team.
- Provide an integrated and personalized treatment approach for patients with thyroid, oral cavity, pharyngeal, laryngeal, sinonasal, skin, salivary, and other types of head and neck cancers.
- Receive an academic appointment at Duke University.
- Perform complex head and neck surgical resections, including microvascular reconstruction
- Educate fellows, residents, and students.
- Conduct clinical or translational research.
- Participate in Head and Neck Service activities.
- Optional: perform craniomaxillofacial trauma coverage in collaboration with the Plastic, Oral, and Maxillofacial surgery.
Key Qualifications:
- Board certified or eligible in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
- Training in an AHNS accreditedhead and necksurgicaloncologyfellowship
- Experience inTrans Oral RoboticSurgery(TORS)
- Experience in Microvascular reconstruction
- Experience in integrating multi-disciplinary care of patients with advanced head and neckcancer
- Craniomaxillofacial trauma skills are welcomed, but not required
