The responsibilities of a Director of Property Management will include the oversight of the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for a given region’s list of clients and Property Management teams for a given market for Lincoln Property Company. Lead the teams in the daily performance of their jobs, providing the support and communication to ensure effective and accurate reporting as well as follow through on the activities needed to ensure that the assets are maintained and handled in the most professional manner. Communication and maintaining good client relationships as well as assisting in new business development activities. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for the overall management of the property portfolio which includes but is not limited to budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and execution, financial reporting, lease administration, vendor management, customer service and satisfaction, and compliance. The Director of Property Management will work closely with the Executive team to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. In addition, this includes directing and coaching site staff to ensure best industry practices are being implemented; lead a team of property managers in the daily performance of their jobs; ensure properties are well-maintained and that their processes meet the relevant local safety codes; create and monitor budget for the regional property management division; interview prospective recruits; organize property viewings; maximize revenues; minimize operating costs; and adhere to the annual budget.
Responsibilities:
- Provide world-class client support
- Review and prepare monthly property summaries including variance reports on income statements, vacancies, accounts receivable and submit them to asset managers and/or Head of Property Management as required
- Create, refine, and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Develop growth strategies and implement plans for increasing the overall business of the regions through third party management and through mergers and acquisitions.
- Assist in acquisition due diligence, analysis, and training.
- Assist in developing a replacement and succession plan for each key employee within the region.
- Act as a liaison for the controlled portfolio as well as third party client relations.
- Conduct property management/property accountant monthly statement meetings and review for the region.
- Advise the Regional Vice President of the need for changing objectives and plans in accordance with current business conditions.
- Evaluate performance of team members for compliance with established policies and objective of Lincoln Property Company and contributions in attaining objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits to properties within the region to ensure that the property management functions are being conducted to the stated standards of Lincoln Property Company.
- Supervise owners’ month-end package preparation and distribution for the region.
- Continuously evaluate the training needs of the region to ensure that the training needs are addressed.
- Assist the Regional Vice President with special projects.
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s level degree in Business or a related field; and
- Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Real-Estate experience
- Must have Real Estate License
- Experience using JDE accounting software preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
- The successful candidate will be very detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, extremely professional, and customer service oriented

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
