As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Director, eCommerce - Walmart Inc. (Walmart and Sam's Club).
OVERVIEW:
The eCommerce Director will play an integral role in driving world class account management, retail eCommerce initiatives, and owning flawless execution digitally. The Director, eCommerce will do so by working closely with WFS partners and retailer merchants, as well as collaborating with SharkNinja corporate teams (sales, planning, category planning & analysis, omni channel, supply chain, customer service and finance), with the goal of driving rapid eCommerce acceleration for the Walmart and Sam’s Club business.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:
- Demonstrate Best in Class account management, driving growth in Revenue and Net Margin to help us achieve and exceed our goals. Develop and execute a strategic plan to win and drive digital penetration for both the Shark and Ninja brands.
- Owning the 1P Walmart.com and Samsclub.com responsibilities including; inventory management, content initiatives, pricing strategies, customer profitability, and manage promotional spending within ROI goals.
- Build and scale the holistic SharkNinja Walmart “marketplace” strategy, inclusive of scaling our WFS business.
- Critical decision making, based on financial analysis of multiple scenarios to drive profitable growth, often diving into the details and understanding what comprises & drives contribution margin $ and %.
- Partner with both Shark and Ninja Sales Teams on overall account strategy and developing eCommerce growth plans that ensure both brands win share digitally.
- Responsible for both execution and .com strategy building; need to love the details, but also be able to set strategy.
- Work cross functionally to ensure we’re operationally and financially set up to optimize our business via WFS inputs.
- Delivering flawless execution for SharkNinja and Walmart:
- New Product Launches (online)
- eCommerce execution – inventory, pricing, content, and strategies.
- Timely response to retailer and internal partner requests
- Leverage weekly and daily analytics to drive key decisions
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- Intimate knowledge of how to drive sales within the retail eCommerce space. Preferred sales experience working with Walmart Inc. or Amazon.
- Experience managing 3P marketplace accounts a huge plus.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, complimented by effective oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Embodies SharkNinja success factors and constantly focused on driven progress vs. perfection.
- Experience within durable goods, where winning during key moments is essential to success.
- In depth knowledge of retail media – key levers, benchmarks, and appropriate strategies for each. Experience managing/optimizing campaigns a plus.
- Ability to thrive in the SharkNinja fast-pace, “obsessed with winning”
- Solution oriented thinker and executor will enjoy solving problems to move the business forward
- Flexibility to manage objectives and deliverables in a dynamic, innovation-led culture
- Embraces the fluidity and constant changes ecommerce space. Willing to pivot priorities to align with what’s most important.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience managing retail eCommerce businesses - WFS and WM.com are pluses.
- 4+ years of experience in account management
- 6+ years of experience in the retail eCommerce space
- MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Previous Walmart or Amazon required – Walmart preferred
- Retail Link/Luminate experience a plus
- Ability to travel approximately 6 times per year to our Boston, MA headquarters and to offsite Walmart manager meetings
