JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Cybersecurity Business Development will support Apex-driven cybersecurity opportunities with the intent for ECS to deliver the work. This role will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Apex and ECS, understanding ECS’s value proposition, managed services capabilities, pricing, and how they deliver their work to Apex customers. You will build connections with and operate as Apex’s point-of-contact for ECS employees while taking Apex account opportunities from discovery to booking. In addition, the Director will also help sell and book Apex-delivered engagements as the decision for ECS to deliver the work is decided at the beginning of a sales cycle.
Responsibilities include:
  • Support the Apex front office and Apex customers on new cybersecurity solution opportunities that will likely use ECS’s managed services to deliver the work
  • Act as Apex’s “ECS managed service SME,” selling the ECS services to Apex customers as often as possible
  • Act as senior sales support to the Apex field, presenting to clients on the full breadth of our capabilities (Apex+ECS)
  • Train Apex sellers on ECS and general ASGN cybersecurity capabilities
  • Act as point-of-contact for Apex-to-ECS active engagements, resolving issues with delivery, finance, etc.
  • When an opportunity needs to be delivered by Apex, help create the solution, proposals, contracts, pricing, and client presentations to win the business
  • Uncover and sell new cybersecurity engagements and manage the client relationship in the absence of an Apex seller’s involvement
  • Sell direct to channel partners and own the channel accounts as seller

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years Apex sales experience with success in a Director role (SSD, CD, etc.)
  • Experience winning or selling Cybersecurity engagements in the past
  • Understanding of the SOW deal lifecycle, ability to manage Proposal writing, contract-writing/editing, pricing sheets, CLM, Salesforce, etc.
  • Prefer EST or CST time-zone
