- Talent Management manages end-to-end talent acquisition (sourcing, recruiting, selection, on-boarding) and leads the development and retention of critical talent in order to provide employees with the proper skill set to meet current and future business needs.
- Compensation and Benefits develops industry-aligned compensation strategies to attract and retain talent and motivate desired behaviors and results.
- HR Administration provides for consistent employment processes across the company and leverages technology to maximize operational efficiency and provide accurate and robust data on employees.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Compensation assists with the development, implementation, ongoing support, and administration of the company’s compensation programs. This individual designs and executes compensation solutions based on business goals and strategy and identifies and implements plan improvements based on market analysis to ensure external competitiveness. They provide guidance to the HR Generalists, Recruiters, and Business Leaders to ensure compensation practices and pay are aligned and competitive with market trends while balanced with consideration to internal pay equity issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer annual compensation planning process and provide consulting across multiple internal clients and stakeholders. Work closely with Director, HRIS to continuously increase the automation of processes and integration with Workday.
- Administer sales incentive plans as part of the overall incentive compensation planning process; gather and analyze market data to support plan design.
- Participate in industry compensation surveys and position pricing; conduct job evaluations and market analysis; analyze data to evaluate and recommend pay positioning. Assist recruiting team in determining appropriate compensation offers.
- Partner closely with Finance to analyze, model and administer Company’s equity and deferral award programs.
- Advise HR and business partners on compensation related policies and administration issues throughout the year.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience in compensation consulting and/or administration.
- Preferred Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
- Highly analytical and proficient in spreadsheet software and analytical tools.
- Detail and results oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HR information systems, such as Workday.
- Prior experience in the investment management industry preferred. Familiarity with industry benchmarking surveys and tools.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $100,000- $140,000
The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in a company incentive plan.
