Compensation: This position pays an salary + bonus. Pay is dependent on experience and can range from $90,000 - $105,000 per year for qualified candidates.

Hours: Day shift hours Monday through Friday. Hours are typically 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. No weekends, evenings, or holidays required!
Duties/Responsibilities: This position is an opportunity to step in to a leadership role while directing the day-to-day operations of the Diesel Repair Shop. This management-level position is responsible for leading a full time team of 8 Service Technicians, 4 Fabricators, and 1 Service Assistant on a daily basis.Our shop has a total of 14 bays. Typical duties will include:
- Oversee daily operations of the diesel service shop to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Manage and schedule service appointments, repairs, and maintenance tasks for diesel vehicles.
- Supervise and lead a team of 8 diesel mechanics and technicians and 4 Fabricators, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with customers to provide updates on repair status and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of shop services with overall company operations.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Prior shop management experience (in automotive or diesel) is preferred.Qualified applicants should have some prior experience or the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of business operations and leadership in a service/repair environment.
