The Development Associate is responsible for ensuring that the fundraising database is up-to-date and provides accurate reporting and analytics. Additionally, this role produces donor acknowledgement letters and provides support to all of Development staff, including events support, leadership giving support, and donor stewardship.

Required Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum two year’s previous relevant experience in nonprofit organizations(s), in either resource development, customer relations or marketing/communications OR three of similar experience in a for-profit setting with an emphasis on customer service and accurate record keeping.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others.
- Database Management: Designs, implements, and maintains a database system.
- Utilizing Technology or Software: Demonstrates proficiency with enterprise solutions such as Client Relationship Management, Project Management, or General Ledger systems.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures information is complete and accurate and follows up to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
- Teamwork: Works with and helps others to accomplish objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- BA/BS degree.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Proficiency and experience in Raisers Edge or similar database(s).
