We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Demand Planner to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to customers. This position focuses on leveraging advanced forecasting and analytics to anticipate consumer demand, identify market trends, and inform inventory and manufacturing decisions that support brand profitability and operational efficiency.
You'll develop detailed product demand plans, deliver accurate forecasts, and provide cross-functional insights for inventory optimization. This role requires both technical expertise in demand planning and the ability to collaborate across planning, marketing, and sales teams to meet key business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain seasonal plans and monthly forecasts at the style/color level for assigned categories using data-driven forecasting methods.

Partner cross-functionally to align forecasts with sales, margin, and inventory goals, supporting corporate CFoP (Cash Flow Operating Plan) targets.

Analyze replenishment data, customer insights, sales trends, marketing promotions, and new product introductions to inform accurate demand plans.

Use statistical techniques and business intelligence tools to validate forecast assumptions and improve accuracy.

Translate short-term demand signals into actionable insights to support global inventory decisions and supply chain planning.

Categorize internal demand stream information based on demand patterns and causal factors.

Contribute to the development of tools, documentation, and processes that support improved forecast accuracy and inventory management.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders including sales, merchandising, marketing, and finance.

Support in-season optimization and communicate forecast adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
(Alternatives: Master's + 4 yrs, Associate's + 6 yrs, High School + 7 yrs of relevant experience) -
5+ years of directly relevant experience in demand planning, supply chain, or retail planning.

Retail planning experience is required.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.); experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems preferred.

Proven ability to build relationships across departments and communicate data-driven insights clearly.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to both strategic and tactical initiatives.
Compensation:
The target compensation range for this role is $40.79 to $45.33 per hour, depending on education, relevant experience, certifications, and location.
