The Staff DEIA Working Group intern will assist the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in the Museum's efforts to fulfill its three-year DEIA Strategy Playbook, which focuses on promoting change that will establish and sustain a welcoming environment and further a sense of belonging for staff and visitors.
We have several strategic planning goals to achieve that includes working on initiatives related to our Professional Engagement Program (PEP!). The spring internship program runs from 1/23/25 until approximately 4/24/25 or an agreed upon end date with the hiring manager. Please note, there is a required in person orientation that takes place on Thursday, 1/23/25 10-4 pm. This internship provides a stipend of $1500.00 and will require a minimum of 15 hours each week, on site.
