Full Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company located in Andover, MA is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Customer Service Representative to join our team for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will manage client orders, address customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a high-volume environment. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams, ensuring the efficient processing of orders and the resolution of any challenges that arise. This is a temporary position, so candidates must be available for the entire contract duration. You will be based onsite in North Andover, MA, and will have the flexibility to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays. This role is compensating $24/hour and will consist of a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process sales orders, return goods authorizations (RGAs), and credits while adhering to company procedures and maintaining high accuracy.
  • Address product shortages, complaints, and offer alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve order holds related to credit, pricing discrepancies, shipping issues, and part identification.
  • Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support teams to resolve customer-reported issues effectively.
  • Manage new and existing customer accounts, ensuring that all account information is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Experience with order entry and order expediting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities, with a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, talk, and hear frequently; stand, sit, and use hands to handle or feel occasionally.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Vision abilities required for the role include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
  • You will work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Occasional duties outside the typical office setting may be required.
