Full Job Description
Description:Performs tasks within the core coating process under a Basic Operator level computer system; Shop Floor Management (SFM) computer system knowledge; operates core saws; cuts, cleans, weighs, measures and identifies core for coating; assists on the core coating conveyer; Performs set up and shut down/ cleanup of system; Possess understanding of valves and direction flow of material; masks and damasks core blocks; loads and unloads core oven carts; starts oven cures and keeps accurate records. Uses precision measuring devices to ensure specified variance and density of materials.
Performs rework of the level of difficulty of the operations described above.
Must be able to identify problems/issues and report them accordingly.
Ability to obtain and maintain Company licenses, certifications, and training as required for assigned tasks.
PERFORMS SUCH RELATED DUTIES AS:
Receives and unloads incoming materials, checks against accompanying documents for quantity, checks expiration dates of materials; maintains records of stock items.
Helps maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition by returning tools, equipment, and materials to the proper storage areas; performs general housekeeping.
Improvises shop aids as required.
Maintains records for regulatory purposes.
Uses blueprints, specifications, and basic math including decimals and fractions, rules and measuring tape.
Performs duties of the Fabrication Processing Helper as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to understand and operate basic computer system operations.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to accurately use weight and precision measuring devices.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of loading and operating core saws.
Desired Skills:
Experience in core coating
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
The base range for this position in California is $22.45 - $35.37.
