Position Overview:We're on the lookout for a talented Copywriter to join our Brand Marketing team. In this role, you'll craft compelling and engaging copy across a variety of platforms to showcase our wallpaper and fabric-by-the-yard offerings. From long-form articles to punchy advertising posts, you'll help tell our brand's story and connect with our audience in a meaningful way.Responsibilities:- Website Content: Write and refine engaging long-form content for our website, including product descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and highlights the unique benefits of our wallpaper and fabric products.
- Email and SMS Campaigns:Develop persuasive copy for email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty. Craft subject lines, body text, and calls-to-action that resonate with our target audience.
- Ads: Partner with SEM team to create compelling copy and CTAs for ad platforms, paid social, and affiliate
- Physical Product Packing: The ability to translate product copy to product packaging solutions for Spoonflower's physical products (packaging, belly bands, hang tags, etc...)
- Sales Collateral: Create copy for creative briefs related to physical and digital sales collateral (brochures, fliers, postcards, etc...)
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and enhance Spoonflower's brand voice across all written materials. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all copy is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Audience Engagement: Understand and write for our diverse consumer segments, tailoring content to meet the needs and interests of both wallpaper and fabric enthusiasts.
- Research & Collaboration: Conduct research to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. Work closely with the creative team, product managers, and other team members to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- 1-2 years experience
- Proven experience as a digital copywriter, preferably in the home decor, lifestyle, or e-commerce sectors.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create compelling messaging for various formats and platforms, from website copy to social media posts.
- Strong familiarity with SEO best practices and email marketing strategies.
- A creative thinker with a passion for strategic storytelling and a knack for engaging diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of analytics tools is a plus.
