Job Summary
The Compliance & Ethics Specialist is a member of the Compliance and Ethics Department and reports to the Director of Legal Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks and projects related to various Compliance and Ethics Department objectives and key results. You will work closely with the Legal and Compliance & Ethics Team members and Company stakeholders to implement and complete various regulatory tasks, Compliance & Ethics Program initiatives, and ad hoc projects. In this role, you should also expect to participate in and lead compliance-related initiatives, requiring the ability to communicate information clearly and confidently.
You will need to develop and maintain knowledge of current FCC regulations, TRS Fund Administrator instructions, and company policies. The position will work with all Company departments to ensure policies, procedures, and activities comply with all regulatory and company requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Legal Compliance with all aspects of ethics, compliance, and control governance.
- Perform auditing and assessment tasks related to department activities and be able to identify issues, spot potential risks and highlight non-compliance concerns.
- Identify, recommend, develop, and implement remediation and continuous improvement efforts related to the Company's Compliance and Ethics Program.
- Investigate, gather, and analyze information, documents, and data pursuant to regulatory audit requirements or investigations.
- Handle simple to moderately complex tasks and projects with minimal supervision and identify significant and complex high-risk issues to supervisor.
- Perform miscellaneous duties, special projects, and ad hoc assignments

Education
Education: 2 Year / associate degree or equivalent experience
Preferred: 4 Year / bachelor’s Degree
Experience
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of related experience that includes auditing, reporting, legal, or compliance experience.

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Excel & pivot tables

- Sound judgment and decision-making framework
- Ability to research source materials, regulations, caselaw and administrative orders to develop solid working knowledge of subject matter.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
- Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
- Infrequent travel may be required
