As a Compensation Analyst, you will oversee and administer employee compensation programs. These programs include short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, salary increases, compensation data audits, merit budget setting, salary surveys, executive compensation, sales compensation, financial/tax treatment of compensation programs, equity administration, and proxy disclosure and analysis.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and/or implement employee compensation programs for FactSet to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
- Develop, implement, communicate, and train on compensation programs and policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a global job architecture, including job codes, job families, and job grades and ranges for each country or geographic region. Lead the job description creation process, including adherence to internal regulations and FLSA regulations for US-based positions, while working with HR Business Partners to ensure description accuracy.
- Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary levels according to compensation guidelines and policy.
- Determine best salary surveys to purchase and participate in for all applicable countries.
- Market price all jobs using salary surveys and competitive market data.
- Provide analysis of competitive compensation practices, develop auditing reports, determine the effectiveness of compensation practices and recommendations, and develop strategies to support organizational goals.
- Analyze organizational pay practice and make recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity
- Partner with the global HR community to provide subject matter expertise in all aspects of the compensation life cycle.
- Support the year end compensation planning process (merit, bonus, and equity) and related activities during the year, including working with a technical team to test and launch the process in Workday. This also includes sales commission programs.
- Manage the annual budgeting process related to compensation planning and forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual proxy CD&A disclosure.
- Administer quarterly off-cycle equity grant process
- Monitor monthly payroll reconciliation to Workday.
What We're Looking For:
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4-6 years of compensation/total rewards experience in a global organization
- Strong experience in compensation analytics
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule from an office in NYC, Norwalk, CT or Boston
Desired Skills
- CCP certification
- Experience in FinTech or Financial Services
The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut and NYC is $89,600 - $112,000.
