Description

Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for an Adult Outpatient Clinical Supervisor to join their SUD team!

The Clinical Supervisor performs in a leadership capacity within the agency including team building, developing training for existing staff, overseeing clinicians and providing intern training. Demonstrates high skill level in addiction counselor competencies. Highly motivated and an exemplary role model to the treatment team. Particularly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of addiction and/or behavioral issues. Responsible for all aspects of supervision and oversight for the SUD clinical team. Provides coverage for the Program Director in the event of illness, vacation, training, etc. Expected to provide coverage, when available, for fellow clinical staff when absent. Weekend coverage possible depending on agency assignment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct client services, including screen, assess, evaluate level of care, diagnose for substance use criteria, refer clients internally and externally to care, treatment plan and document appropriately.
  • Facilitates groups using education, discussion, and group process. Focus on emotional / social / and family issues relevant to clients with substance use disorder.
  • Provides or arranges for case management services that address client multidimensional outcomes.
  • Participates in clinical supervision, QA review of documentation, and personal goal tracking highlighted in yearly evaluation. Attends minimum of 2 hours individual or group supervision per month.
  • Provides regular staff development to the treatment team.
  • Provides supervision to clinical staff as needed. Assist with group clinical supervision.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Graduate degree
  • Licensed as a professional counselor, Social Worker or CADAC III with 5 years management and supervisory experience in substance abuse treatment, with 2 years' experience in OTP management.
  • Thorough knowledge of SAMHSA, OHA and DEA regulations.
