Take your Turn to Lead the Culinary Team at one of Atlanta’s most famous restaurants!
We are looking for a new Chef de Cuisine at Polaris, Atlanta’s legendary rotating Blue Dome restaurant and lounge on the top of Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
Polaris has been a landmark on the Atlanta skyline since 1967, and reopened as one of the city’s most must-see restaurant destinations in 2014.
The Polaris Chef de Cuisine will act as a senior leader with key management responsibilities managing dining room operations and culinary staff. The Chef also will supervise the service of Polaris’ signature dishes as they’re prepared in an open, residential kitchen while guests rotate around.
We are looking for a creative leader who will work as an independent owner/operator overseeing Polaris’ operation, and will take council from our Executive Chef to design innovative menu items to surprise and delight our guests.

We are searching for an individual that demonstrate the following skills
- In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations
- Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
- Experience with training, basic financial management and customer service
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
- Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
- Strong training and communication skills
- Culinary education and/or on the job training, independent restaurant experience is preferred
