Assists the pharmacists in performing technical duties related to the distribution of drugs to patients. Monitors medication inventory levels and places orders to restock. Develops strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Supports pharmacological services by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, placing and expediting orders, reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and compounding sterile and non-sterile products and other pharmaceutical therapies.Job DutiesAssists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription orders.Adheres to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations.Fills medication orders accurately and efficiently.Assures all medications are properly labeled, checked by a pharmacist, and dispensed in a timely mannerPrioritizes workload, maintains organization, and coordinates activities with other team members.
