Provides leadership and manages the team responsible for administering the rapidly growing life premium finance business. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team. Mentor and coach teammates on: loan management system functionality, operational compliance with policies and procedures, and ensuring a consistent best-in-class client experience. Interact with external parties (e.g. banks and life insurance companies). Serve as a resource for other departments within the organization. Contribute to defining (a) loan management development needs from both internal and external user need perspective and (b) updates to policy and procedures based on changing organizational, as well as regulatory and supervisory, parameters. Active involvement in risk mitigation by monitoring system data integrity and completeness and accuracy of credit files.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1.Oversee processes for new business, annual renewals/resets and maturities.
2.Manage and maintain up to date Policies, Procedures, and training manuals.
3.Oversee Letter of Credit exposure reports and ensure organized safekeeping of physical Letters ofCredit.
4.Prepare for and contribute to seamless month, quarter and year-end closings withFinance/Accounting.
5.Maintain data reports on proportionate share debt allocations for multi-life transactions.
6.Conduct training sessions individually and/or collectively.
7.Resolve customer service issues as they arise.
8.Participate in Territory portfolio meetings.
9.Propose enhancement to loan management system and operational processes and serve as the liaison for the business with the systems development team.
10.Conduct routine and regularly scheduled meetings with the team and at least semi-annual inperson team meetings.
11.Ensure system data integrity by reviewing quotes and activated loan transactions.
12.Monitor and update as needed, insurance company ratings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and related training
2.Ten years of premium finance experience with a broad background in all aspects of the business
3.Five years of management experience
4.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Strong problem solving skills
6. Strong analytical skills
7. Ability to work autonomously within the guidelines established by the corporation to achieve revenue and profit goals
8. Demonstrate leadership qualities with ability to motivate internal teammates
