WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) Co-Op will be responsible for executing analysis on the BI&A team under the guidance and leadership of the Senior Product Manager. The Coop will work closely with the Report Delivery Squad with a diverse range of finance stakeholders from across the business, both geographically and functionally. To date, the team has launched and operationalized several global scale products and dashboards, enhancing how our leaders engage in information to manage the business. The next wave of digital reporting is underway which will help to unlock further value for BCG’s leadership and functions with best-in-class business intelligence and analytics. This role has the unique responsibility of working on a project-based team integrated in the finance function. No weeks / months are the same!

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of self-motivation, resourcefulness, and patience. Ability to take initiative and find creative and effective ways to accomplish tasks

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the Finance function, project team, and system developers

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2025 co-op cycle

Preference to rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field

Ability to understand the importance of business processes

Strong skills in Windows office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

Willingness to learn theories and principles of Enterprise Performance Management applications including reporting, financial planning & analysis, and core accounting.

YOU'LL WORK WITH

The team consists of both functional (finance / business) and technical (IT / engineering) members of the team and look to improve BCG reporting systems and tools, dashboarding, and visualizations. The team is spread throughout Boston, Argentina, and India, and serves finance users across all BCG offices.
