Reporting to the Sr. Manager Commissions, the Business Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of Vivint planning, financial analysis, and management reporting, including providing financial support to Vivint management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and reporting
- Help determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop Models for new business ideas, products, and channels
- Support monthly close process, and execute SOX controls
- Support continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality, and systems capability
- Prepare variance and trend analysis, and provide proactive recommendations for addressing variances in budget
- Provide ad hoc analytics
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling
- Experience with planning and analysis software tools (experience with Adaptive Planning and FPR software a plus)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
- Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a company with multiple routes to market is a plus
- Experience in a High Tech Company is a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in an Analyst role, a challenging environment
- Bachelor’s Degree (Finance preferred)
- Accounting background a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
