At James+James, we are looking to welcome motivated, responsible, and hard-working individuals to our woodshop team! We are looking for individuals with a good attitude and an eagerness to learn that will help us in our goals to grow and advance.

• Be able to build OR the ability and willingness to learn how to build solid hardwood furniture, learning the process from start to finish with training, the help of team leads, and senior builders.
• Create and maintain a clean work environment, while following all safety guidelines needed to operate power tools and heavy machinery.
• Learn and understand the metric standards set by leadership and business needs.
• Learn and understand our high-quality standard expectations, and how to meet metric standards and maintain a high pass rate.
• Be able to operate OR the ability and willingness to learn how to operate power tools and heavy machinery.
• Able and willing to cross train and learn all areas of the wood shop.
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally with other teammates and leadership to solve problems and tackle issues.
• Understands the importance of workplace safety and can follow all safety standards set in place.
• Be able to safely and repeatedly lift 50lbs and up to 120lbs with a partner.
• Have good attendance and a positive attitude.
