Overview
Aquent’s Technology & Innovation team is looking for an Associate Technical Product Manager to help drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions, with a strong focus on the recruiting and staffing industry.
Required
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in product ownership or product management with recruiting experience or has 3+ years of experience working in recruiting with a proven ability to drive complex projects to completion. Additionally, the role requires experience managing both legacy systems and new, innovative systems and features.
Prior exposure to AI/ML-driven products is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, data science) to develop software solutions that enhance recruiting and staffing processes.
• Agile & Scrum Execution: Work within Agile/Scrum teams to define and prioritize product backlogs, write user stories, and facilitate sprint planning.
• Technical Project Oversight: Partner with developers and technical teams to drive projects to completion, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Managing Legacy & New Products: Oversee feature and product development across both existing systems and new, innovative systems and features.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements, define product features, and ensure successful implementation.
• Recruiting Industry Focus: Leverage industry knowledge to build products that improve recruiter efficiency, candidate matching, and overall hiring success.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor product performance and user feedback to refine features and drive ongoing enhancements.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role or experience working in the recruiting industry.
• Direct experience in staffing/recruiting or building products for the industry
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Experience driving technical or operational projects from concept to delivery
• Knowledge of APIs, data-driven decision-making, and software development processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment
Nice to Have
• AI/ML Experience: Background in AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, image analysis, prompt engineering, or building AI/ML-driven software products.
• Certification: Product Owner or Scrum certification (CSPO, PSPO)
• Tools Experience: Proficiency with tools such as Tableau, Miro, and Figma.
