Full Job Description
Our client is seeking an Associate Media Director to join their dynamic team.
As the Associate Media Director, you will be the second in command to the head of the media department, managing 5-10 accounts autonomously. You will be responsible for generating ideas, leading client meetings, and handling all client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strong client relationships as the main point-of-contact across the portfolio
- Deliver high-quality media plans for clients, understanding how offline and online channels can achieve objectives and goals
- Manage and supervise a team in day-to-day media management, serving as a mentor/resource for the team
- Lead strategic planning and media mix exercises including deck creation, budget and channel allocation, target audience development, and competitive insights
- Manage media planning and buying for both offline (TV, OOH, radio, print) and online media (programmatic, CTV/OTT, online video, audio, display)
- Partner with the Director of Analytics to ensure that a strong testing and reporting structure is in place to measure against KPIs throughout the campaign duration
- Train and inspire a team, fostering a strong, cohesive working environment
- Research and implement new techniques and technologies that are relevant to clients' media strategies, fostering organic growth
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of traditional (TV, OOH, radio, print) and digital (display, programmatic, video, paid social, etc.) media planning and buying experience
- Strong team communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong background in planning tools (Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, Kantar, ComScore), ad management platforms (Google Campaign Manager, DSPs, etc.), and reporting platforms (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
