Our receptionists play a vital role connecting pet parents to pet doctors. In this position, you will work with a fun and close-knit team to assist customers in getting the best medical care a veterinary practice has to offer. You will act as a first point of contact for potential clients, help to market the hospital inside the retail setting as well as in the community, greet clients, field phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist the staff as necessary.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that requires quick thinking and a collaborative spirit. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have excellent communication skills. Empathy is paramount.
Must-Haves:
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Proven customer service ability;
- Ability to travel within 15 miles of the hospital;
- Flexibility and willingness to perform many job duties within the hospital;
- Friendly, positive, team-oriented attitude;
- Desire to always learn new things and take the initiative; and
- The ability to multitask and help the team as needed.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Veterinary hospital experience; and
- 1+ years of experience in customer service roles.
