The Associate Manager, Tech Operations is responsible for bringing an optimal consumer experience to life on NatureMade.com by serving as a liaison between the DTC business and IT. This role is responsible for ensuring that the tools and technology on our website work to create a frictionless site experience for our users. This includes heavy collaboration with our IT/development team to define site requirements, scope work, and bring new features and enhancements to life on the site. This also includes overseeing how we use tools and technology to enhance our consumer experience. The Associate Manager, Tech Operations reports to the Director, DTC and Website.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

Develop and manage key relationships with technology tools and integrations used throughout the website; serve as a bridge between the DTC and IT team to ensure that we're using our tools optimally, checking in regularly with vendors, and leveraging the best functionality for the business objectives.
Own the advancement of key web development projects (features, enhancements and bug fixes) and tickets; working closely with IT, DTC, cross-functional teams like Brand or Legal, web development teams, and UAT teams to organize, plan and deliver the work to keep the website operating optimally. Play a key role in the sprint planning and delivery process to bring all major web enhancements to life.
Responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our PIM tool to ensure accurate information gets shared with our website and other storefronts on a regular basis. Identify new ways to use PIM technology to improve processes for sharing product content and information.
Serve as the key day-to-day partner with our operations and fulfillment team, partnering closely to track any concerning inventory, OOS or product issues that would potentially impact a consumer ability to buy. Work to communicate this across the DTC team.
Manage day-to-day update and configuration needed to operate Shopify and the storefront by working to set up products and promos, track down order issues, assist our Consumer Affairs team in investigating customer issues, and performing the troubleshooting necessary to drive a positive consumer experience.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

You'll be most successful in this role if you have:

Experience maintaining and configuring DTC or commerce websites in a Shopify Plus environment; managing products, promos, content and troubleshooting key issues with orders and customers
Worked with technical teams to identify, create and scope features, enhancements and fixes for a web environment; being a part of the entire process from conceptualization to testing and delivery
Possess a thorough understanding of eCommerce tools and technologies such as Algolia, Bazaarvoice, and Salsify (among others)
Experience working in Google Analytics with an ability to navigate the platform independently to evaluate data; experience with other web analytics platforms and dashboards preferred
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-funcitonally to achieve outcomes.

CAPABILITIES & SKILLS

Required In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:

At least 4 years of experience working on DTC, retail or commerce-based websites with direct responsibility for managing the day-to-day aspects within a Shopify Plus environment
An ability to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a drive to build lasting relationships across the business
Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment with the ability to travel to our headquarters in West Hills up to 10% of the year
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $78,000 - $128,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
