Job Summary
An assistant in research is sought for assistance on a research project with Dr. Cheol Lee. This is a temporary position, paid bi-weekly at an hourly rate determined by the faculty project sponsor. The weekly work expectation is up to 10 hours per week during the Fall 2024 semester.
Responsibilities*
The job duties for this position include data collection, data summary, and preparation of presentations to support research projects in the areas of mechanical and manufacturing engineering. The ideal candidate is a diligent student with a desire to obtain hands-on experiences in lab and research activities.
Required Qualifications*
- Participation in Dearborn Engineering Success in Fall 2024
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn new applications and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational and documentation skills for keeping track of data and multiple analysis steps
- Strong work ethic and dependability
