Join us for this incredible opportunity to be a part of our Housekeeping team at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire Housekeeping area, to include guest rooms, public areas, and night cleaning. This requires some understanding of Housekeeping operations, and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with room inspections, job assignments, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. Responsibilities will also include staff training, development, inventory, scheduling, and payroll among other things as needed. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will promote an atmosphere that ensures guest and colleague satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments, and team members.We offer excellent benefits:

Our good faith belief at the time of this posting is that the annual salary for this position will be between $61,800 - $68,000 (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications

- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of people
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
