Swing Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM Monday through Friday

Responsibilities and Capabilities:

• Responsible for processing and assembling high quality medical devices while minimizing scrap.
• Process and assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
• Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product.
• Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Participate in line meetings.
• Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
• Maintain cleanroom integrity via proper gowning techniques and adherence to cleanroom environment practices and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g. timecards), and special projects.
• Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations.
• Work all required overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 - 3 years of related experience required
• Must be able to work in variable working conditions, which include working in the Controlled Environment Room, Shipping Area, Mold Shop and Ancillary Labs
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity as this role will work with small plastic and metal components in a high-volume manufacturing setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications and other documents written in English
• Proficient with basic math calculations
• Team player

• The person must ensure their activities and those of their staff are in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the product lines and markets in which the Company participates

Compensation: $28 - $30/hour depending on experience
