Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Monday through Friday (Day)
Responsibilities and Capabilities:
- Responsible for processing and assembling high quality medical devices while minimizing scrap.
- Process and assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
- Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product.
- Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
- Participate in line meetings.
- Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
- Maintain cleanroom integrity via proper gowning techniques and adherence to cleanroom environment practices and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g. timecards), and special projects.
- Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations.
- Work all required overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 - 3 years of related experience required
- Must be able to work in variable working conditions, which include working in the Controlled Environment Room, Shipping Area, Mold Shop and Ancillary Labs
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity as this role will work with small plastic and metal components in a high-volume manufacturing setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications and other documents written in English
- Proficient with basic math calculations
- Team player

Compensation: $28 - $30/hour depending on experience
