We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Art Director to join our biotech client This is a 3-5 month engagement, starting in early February. This is a remote role, however Pacific Time Zone candidates are highly preferred. You will play a key role in bringing innovative concepts to life for various marketing campaigns and brand experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Creative Process: Drive the creative direction for projects, from initial concept development and brainstorming to final execution.
- Develop Compelling Concepts: Translate abstract ideas into visually stunning and impactful creative solutions.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with project managers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor & Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers (if applicable).
- Present & Communicate: Confidently present design work to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience as an Art Director within a fast-paced agency or in-house creative team at a large enterprise.
- Proven ability to lead the creative process from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on ideation and concept development.
- Portfolio showcasing 3-4 successful projects, highlighting your role in developing innovative and original creative solutions.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Background in pharmaceutical or technology industries is a plus, but not required.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 – $75/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
